With millions of expert League of Legends players, and so much competition, improving your own skills in the game can be difficult.Spend a couple of weeks doing the following things, however, and your skills will improve faster. To the point that, even rising to Gold would not be uncommon.
Improve communication -- One thing that will improve your results in every game is to really communicate with your team.
Communication throughout every match is vital if you are going to know what your team mates strategies are, what they are currently doing and how fast they are seeing your opponents react.
Have a meeting on Discord and go over upcoming stratgies while emphasing each team members must communicate with the others as gameplay is ongoing. Working together as one entity will increase your chances of improving at League of Legends for all of you. This includes listening to team mates when they criticize your play or build.
Stop working on things you are good at -- The natural reaction to being good at something for most League of Legends players is to improve that skill even more.
If they are good at kiting, they ramp up their kiting skills. If they dominate the game at tunneling, that is where they concentrate their energy.
When you do this, you neglect all the other skills you need to get to Gold or Platinum levels. Start concentrating on those skills and leave alone things you already do well.
